Sawston Village History Society

Local authority, archaeologist Richard Mortimer gave a fascinating talk on local digs, with particular reference to the Roman era. This had particular relevance to us in Sawston as we recently had some major finds during construction of our new police station. Richard's talk pointed out that there may have been a police station at the site for more than 2000 years!
