Members' Evening

Three members, Bryan Howe, Andrew Little and Jean Chambers had volunteered to entertain the audience at the Christmas meeting.
                               
Bryan spoke about his earlier life in Sawston including his time at Sawston Village College, working at Towgood’s Paper Mill and the time he was stopped by the village policeman for riding his bicycle without lights.

Andrew showed some atmospheric slides taken at various times of the year of sun rise and sun set, and several interesting landscapes taken mainly when he worked at NIAB.

Pat read out the questions of Jean’s Christmas themed quiz which included questions such as ‘Name all of Santa’s reindeers’, and ‘Name the Three Wise Men’.

The usual raffle and an inviting seasonal buffet provided by members rounded off the evening.
